REMO HealthRhythms

I recently completed the training to be a HealthRhythms facilitator. The drums we raised money to buy months ago are made by REMO specifically for the HealthRhythms protocol, which can be used with a variety of populations. I took a specific training in working with adolescents, but this training combined with my previous experience as a percussionist and drummer allow me to use it with the other groups I work with as well. HealthRhythms drum facilitation can also be a great tool for corporate wellness programs, providing employees with stress relief, new ways of communication- actually saving businesses money in the long run by lessening employee turnover and reducing healthcare costs.

This is an exciting new way to apply my skills as both a Music Therapist and as a Percussionist.
